Pony Care

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

Pony Care is a baby tracker for parents and caregivers, made by Tran Quang Huy ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: your log stays on your phone unless you turn on Sharing, there are no accounts, ads or analytics, and you can delete everything.

Questions? Email contact@superlarva.com.

What you enter

Pony Care only knows what you type into it. That can include:

  • Your baby's name and, if you add them, their birth date and sex (used to pick the boy or girl WHO growth chart).
  • Feeds (breast side and duration, bottle amount and milk type, solid foods), pumping, sleep, tummy time, diapers and poop.
  • Medicine (the name and dose you type), temperature, and growth measurements (weight, length, head size).

Some of this is health information about your baby. We use it only to show it to you and to the people you share the log with.

We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number. The app doesn't access your camera, photos, contacts or location.

On your phone

Everything you log is saved in a database inside the app on your phone. Without Sharing, it isn't sent anywhere. If your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) is on, it may include the app's data.

Reminders are notifications scheduled on your phone. No push server is involved.

Backups and CSV exports are files you create and send wherever you choose with your phone's share sheet. We never see them.

Sharing a log between phones

Sharing is optional. When you start or join a shared log:

  • The app signs in to our sync server anonymously. This creates a random ID that isn't linked to your name, email or phone number.
  • Your baby's profile, every entry and any running timers are uploaded to the server and kept in sync with the other phones in the family.
  • Anyone who has the family code can join and then see and edit the whole log. Share the code only with people you trust. Reset code gives the family a new code and removes everyone else.

The sync server runs on Supabase. Data travels over an encrypted connection, and the server only lets a family's members read its log. It may be stored or processed in a country other than yours.

The Sharing subscription

Pony Care is free. Starting a shared log needs Sharing, an optional subscription ($1.99 a month in the US; the store shows your local price). Joining someone else's shared log is free.

You pay through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment, and we never see your card or bank details. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

We use RevenueCat to check whether Sharing is active. Each time the app starts, it asks RevenueCat about the subscription and its price, even if you've never subscribed. RevenueCat keeps a random customer ID, your purchase and renewal history, and the technical details its software sends with each request, such as device type, system and app version, country and IP address.

Ratings

Now and then, after you save an entry, the app may show Apple's or Google's rating card. Your rating goes to the store; the app doesn't send us anything.

What we don't do

  • No ads, analytics, tracking or crash reporting in the app.
  • No accounts with an email or password.
  • We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • On your phone: until you delete it or uninstall the app. A deleted entry disappears right away, but the app keeps a deletion record (including the entry's details) so the deletion can reach the other phones you share with. Uninstalling removes it all.
  • On the sync server: for as long as the shared log has members. When the last phone stops sharing, the server deletes the shared log, deletion records included. The anonymous sign-in ID holds no personal details and is removed on request.
  • RevenueCat, Apple and Google keep purchase records under their own policies. We'll ask RevenueCat to delete its record of you if you ask us to.

Deleting your data

In the app: delete single entries, or use Baby → Clear all data. To delete the shared copy from the server, stop sharing on every phone in the family. Uninstalling removes everything on that phone.

By email: write to contact@superlarva.com and we'll delete your shared log from the server, your anonymous sign-in ID and your RevenueCat record within 30 days. The steps are on the data deletion page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to how it's used. Most of this you can do in the app: everything you logged is in front of you, and Export backup gives you a full copy. For anything else, email us.

Children

Pony Care is for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. The baby's details are entered by an adult. If you believe a child has used the app and sent us data, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

Data sent to the sync server and to RevenueCat is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and the server only gives a family's log to that family's members. Data on your phone is protected by your phone's lock. Keep your family code private, because anyone who has it can join.

This website

This website has no cookies, analytics or ads. It's hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what the app collects, we'll also mention it in the app's update notes.
